Use of BWOS-10 in boiler water treatment effectively removes dissolved oxygen from water since dissolved oxygen is major source of corrosion in boiler tubes it should be controlled to less than 25ppm Addition of BWOS-10 in the requisite dosage will ensure low levels of dissolved oxygen and will prevent corrosion.

The product is in liquid from and can be used as it is or by diluting with water and added to the boiler feed water or boiler drum.

Protection against corrosion in steam boiler plants through oxygen binding.
Since the product is non volatile. It can also be employed where steam comes in direct contact with food.
Can be used for boiler plant conservation (wet conservation) during shut down periods of plant.
Since the product contains catalyst the oxygen binding is very fast as compound to an ordinary product.

The chemical addition should be about 20ppm of feed water assuming that the feed water contains about 2-3 ppm of dissolved oxygen. A certain excess of the product is maintained to ensure complete removal of oxygen. It is advised to maintain residual sulphite level around 20- 30 ppm.

Keep the container tightly closed away from direct heat & sunlight. Avoid contact with skin & eyes. If it comes in contact with skin or eyes flush with plenty of clean & cold water. If necessary, seek medical attention. Wear protective clothing safety goggles, hand gloves, shoes while handling the chemical.
