Jar Cleaning Chemical (Internal) is a low foaming heavy duty, non-foaming acidic cleaning compound for use in a wide range of CIP applications in the Dairy, Food and Beverage industry and also used for PET Jar Washing (internal) for package drinking water.
JAR CLEANING CHEMICAL (INTERNAL) is typically used for CIP and Jar washing applications at concentrations between 0.1 to 2.0% w/w for cleaning / descaling at 60-70 deg C. Exact concentration, time and temperature of using the jar cleaner will depend upon the application. Jar washing can be done with cold water.
As a good practice, metal surfaces should be neutralizing after cleaning with a weak solution of NaOH (Sodium hydroxide) or KOH (Potassium hydroxide).
Thoroughly rinse the system / jar after use to remove any contaminants. Though this is not a sterilant but gives up to 5 log reductions of E-coli, yeast, mold, fungi and salmonella at 0.5% w/w concentration with 5 mins contact time at elevated temperature.
Proper human safety products such as Splash goggles, lab coat, vapor respirator, gloves and boots should be worn while handling and applying chemicals. Splashes on skin should be washed off with water immediately. In case of splashing into the eyes, flush it with fresh water and obtain medical attention. Should not be injected. Storage
This product should be stored in original containers in cool and dry place, away from sources of heat, flame and direct sunlight. Please refer Technical Data Sheet, Label and MSDS for more details and shelf life.
