Highly effective membrane cleaning agent developed to support the cleaning of acid insoluble like sulphates of calcium, barium and strontium, as well as calcium fluoride. Effective Sulphates, Salts of calcium, barium and strontium salts and fluoride. Helps in bringing the system back to the designed operating conditions by effective cleaning of deposits and foulants. Liquid product high level with active ingredients.
BWMPC-103 ® solution should be made up with chlorine free water to give a 5- 7% in proportion to total volume of the cleaning system (Including the volume of the pressure vessel and pipe lines) Circulate the prepared solution at the following flow rate or as recommended by the membrane manufacturer depending on the membrane size for at least for 1hr.When using to remove calcium sulfate and calcium fluoride deposits the cleaning solution it may be necessary to soak the membranes with BWMPC-103 ® for 24 hours or longer. The duration of the cleaning cycle will depend on the severity of the scaling. Pressure during CIP: 3-4 Kg/Cm2 Flows during CIP: 4" Membrane Flow: 3-4 M3/Hr. 8" Membrane Flow: 8-10 M3/Hr. if the solution becomes turbid, prepare the fresh solution and circulate once again. It is sometimes possible to monitor the progress of membrane cleaning by the ‘pick-up’ of hardness salts in the cleaning solution. If possible, prevent permeation. Static soaking heavily for fouled membranes is recommended. After soaking, circulate again for a minimum of 30 minutes. In a multi stage RO systems to achieve best results, it is suggested clean the each pass individually Rinse system at low pressure prior to system start-up. Discard RO system product water for 15 to 30 minutes after system start-up.
BWMPC-103 ® is recommended in-plant storage to be in cold and shaded place for twelve months- 12 months. Material Safety Data Sheet will give complete handling information before using this product.
