BWOS- 20 is liquid oxygen scavenger will instantly react with dissolved oxygen. This product or its reaction product will not add to the solid contents (T.D.S.) of the water. BWOS- 20 also reduces ferric irons to the ferrous state, thus preventing harmful iron deposits within the boiler.
Treatment dosage will vary with boiler feed water quality and temperature.
Dosage is to be adjusted to provide recommended product residual in the boiler water. Generally a dosage of 10ppm of product/ 1ppm dissolved oxygen or 0.02 - 0.04 ppm hydrazine as N2H4 is to be maintained. Being liquid product BWOS- 20 is easily dosed with any chemical feeding system. For desired results continuous feeding is recommended.
Keep the container tightly closed away from direct heat & sunlight. Avoid contact with skin & eyes. If it comes in contact with skin or eyes flush with plenty of clean & cold water. If necessary, seek medical attention. Wear protective clothing safety goggles, hand gloves, shoes while handling the chemical.
