BWBC-07 biocide is high performance. Broad spectrum antimicrobial agent based on the proven isothiazolone chemistry. This is effective at very low concentration in controlling both the planktonic and surface growth of bacteria fungi and algae have been produced specifically for water treatment.
BWBC- 07 biocide rapidly interacts with proteins within the cell causing an inhibition of respiration and synthesizes, which result in an inability to synthesize biopolymer or catabolize substrate. Growth inhibition rapidly becomes irreversible and result in cell death as essential proteins are progressively oxidized. Even before cell death occurs the BWBC-07 biocide treated organisms are unable to synthesize either biodegradative enzymes or the exopolymers which facilitate microbial adhesion and biofilm formation.
Dosage normally depends on the extent of microbiological population & fouling.
Cooling tower systems which are heavily contaminated should be cleaned before the addition of BWBC-B07.
BWBC-B07 is added to the cleaned systems or when the microbial growth is first noticed according to the following schedule.
Initial does of 150-200 ppm is added. This does may be repeated once or twice in a weak or as required to control the microbial growth. Subsequently the dosage may be adjusted after the microbial control is evident. Generally around 50-70 ppm of BWBC-B07 is added weakly as a maintenance dosage.
Keep the container tightly closed away from direct heat & sunlight. Avoid contact with skin & eyes. If it comes in contact with skin or eyes flush with plenty of clean & cold water. If necessary, seek medical attention. Wear protective clothing safety goggles, hand gloves, shoes while handling the chemical.
